The latest version of the ultimate game creation engine is now available for download. Amiga, the famous REDPILL that has been giving us so many great games in recent months.
While awaiting the final version, as this powerful program is still in beta, Carlos Peris (Zener) delights us with version 0.9.9 of this practical tool.
The following are the improvements and fixes in this latest version:
- The loading animation is now displayed during game loading.
- The F5 to F10 keys can be used as a shortcut to the Play, Spritesheets, Animations, Objects, Tiles, and Levels sections.
- The animation screen now displays shortcuts to the animation frames.
- Sounds are now also packaged using Imploder.
- The editor now checks the project version before uploading it, requesting confirmation.
- On the game settings screen, you can configure the game name and author; these will be displayed when loading the game using WHDLoad.
- When building the project, all images are processed for security and even for increased speed.
- New condition trigger to check if the game is running on an AGA machine.
- The new trigger Instantaneous Attached which allows instantiating an object already attached to the creator.
- New triggers Custom to Var to configure global variables to the custom object.
- Additional checks for tile loading.
- On the Animation screen, the name of the mirrored animation is now displayed.
- Improved UI on the level editor screen.
- Improved UI on the triggers screen.
- Updated projects, some improvements to the games Astro y Gravity.
- Fixed memory corruption issues in certain situations.
- Correction to tileset shortcuts.
- Trigger correction mutate.
- Correction on the input screen.
- Pallet handling adjustments.
